In general: for a beginner weighing about 80-82kg, and 174-5 cms tall, what owuld be the ideal sized board. Happy to throw away after I get competent but more keen on getting up as fast as possible at this stage.

135-140 depending on board width and rocker. Allso the kite size you have and the conditions you ride in will impact on the board you choose to ride. The bigger the better to a degree as when you get better you will buy a smaller board and use your learner board as a light wind board.

I tried a 140cm nobile t5 a couple of days ago, borrowed it from a kite school as a light wind board it was great even when it picked up. I would recomend giving one a go.

Or just grab something bigish thats second hand and get rid of it when you are getting a new board. You wont loose to much money that way.
