Its taken a few years but i finally landed my first unhooked maneuvers and have been pretty stoked.

Here's a short vid of some pretty small tricks in light wind (12knots or so)

Nice job. Try doing your tricks another 20m out from the beach and you might not run up the beach That's how injuries happen...

thanks guys,

I've been watching all the awesome aussie videos and they are kikn goals, especially recent LukeSmith ones / Ewankite.

They seem to really pullllllllll themselves into the bar, then it allows them to rotate on slack lines. Next weekend :) keep kite lower too...

Nice man! Always good to see people pushing themselves. As they say practice makes perfect!

Remember though "pulling yourself" into the bar is important, however, proper rotation and implementation is more important again. A lot of tricks require little muscle to achieve if you implement them correctly.

Biggest thing though is just have fun! Do what feels best and don't get to caught up in trying to land every type of trick, unless you want to be a PKRA hero .

Agreed, definiteley more speed, if it were a knot or two more there would have been 100 kiters around me and no photographer as my mate would kitesurfing too!
One of the benefits of being lightweight. 14m kite, 20m lines, strange combo.

My buddies advice to get better: "Get bigger balls" (thanks Ermo), Go faster, higher and hit the water harder i presume.

Blind judge, then blind judge 3 has been on the Wanted listed for some time.

I've done one S-bend lying flat and it felt weird as, so need to keep doing those.

S-Bend to blind, Double S-bend to blind. If we have another month or two of good wind i may get some of them.

Slim chance must surely be on that list?
