The new look Charity Shop next door is looking for a few old surfboards to build up beachy themed display.
If anyone has an old broken - any condition, long or short - board cluttering up their shed your donation would be greatly appreciated.
Drop it into the "Save the Children" shop on Scarb. Bch Rd.; or to KSS next door; anytime.
Im also on the lookout for the same to make a few bench seats for a drinks table out the back.
I could also pick up if that helps.
I've got an old 6'10" sitting in the shed with the fins ripped out, would be happy to see a useful home. May be able to drop it by tomorrow, if that suits
That would be great Blueprint.
Or you could drop it in tonight if it suits and have a pizza & beer at the Dakine product launch.
And yep - planning a trip to Balcatta recycle asap.
Was there on the weekend, no surfboards but quite a few windsurfers and boogie boards - the dump does not lie, kinda makes sense)
Not that I go looking for boards there ( I was trashing a bath that cracked on me during installation) but always curious to see if a usable board gets trashed.
Cheers
Rich
