Going the single front line flag.
Any one got a ratio for length relative to anything before a snag and my pre flight test?
The old rear line flag length on a 'c' was simple
Please share your wisdom

Length of the kite laid out flat ? That's what I used on my old PL Arcs.

About ten meters is safe.

I made one up with a short ride thinking the extra depower of the new kites would be enough. For general riding it was, but I did a emergency test and it didnt depower fully. Could cause a problem is it was needed.

I have modified some of my kites from 4 to 5 line, and changed the flagging points, to experiment and find the best system. This link should provide all of the data that you need.
