Just wondering what advice anyone would give me on wether i could use my bar and lines from my 2008 cab swblade with a new 2011 or 2010 kite. The bar and lines i have ate literally new but i know the safety system is slightly different. Is the difference that great that i should for out for a new set or not so? Also i will have two different size kites with the same set of bar and lines is this ok? Cheers for replies if you can help out.

Generally all kites run off a system where as long as the line length of the 4 /5 lines is all the same then you are sweet to go.
The line length is the most important thing as this sets the power differential on the kite.
If the back lines are two short you stall the kite.
Using another bar or even one bar will make no difference unless you are talking about a small bar for both a 7m and 11m. The difference then is a short bar makes kite turn lower.

my 12m SB3 (2008) flew fine off the bar from a 2010 9m nomad. their advice was not to but with the SB's huge depower there was no safety issue.
havent tried the other way around, but as the 08 bar flags the kite to a single line i would have thought it was ok.
