My green Suzuki Vitara was stolen last night with my gear in it . (Yes I know why did I leave my gear in it particularly when I have had my cars stolen 3 times and broken into twice .i did bring my board in though and then was asked to intervene in a teenager daughter fight and didn't bring the rest in)
One 13.5 griffin argo black canopy red LE and a 9.5 grifin argo black canopy and white LE .Its windy today and the boneheads might be out there in my car somewhere trying out the kites .keep your eyes peeled folks .

hopefully it will turn up .A great car and i'm really pissed off about it but I don't feel so bad when i think of the poor buggers in Japan and Libya .The Kiwis beating South Africa in the world cup makes me feel prutty ixcilunt too bro.
If it doesn't turn up I would like to get another but that one with such low kms and good price is hard to come by .****in theives .I looked for a party in the election today that pledged to bring back flogging for theiving bastards .There were none

I will keep an eye out on the NB 2nd hand shops, also check ebay.

At long reef over Christmas a few years back, the thieves would have a spotter and some one to break into the cars at long reef car park.

They would do a line of about 5 cars at once and be gone in less than a minute. I had some kites, jeans and credit card stolen and they went on a $3000 shopping spree and cleaned out the cars on both sides.

They stole about 8 kites and a bunch of other stuff, not bad for a minutes work...

I reported it to the police in Dee Why, the reply was, don't leave anything in the car, because the car park gets robbed all the time fool.

Its some times safer to leave your kite on the beach.

Check your car insurance, a mates car was robbed, but his insurance covered everything in his car that was stolen. I don't know the details, or if its extra cover, but may be worth having.

f@$king scumbag thieves!!!!
I've had my house done over 3 times, the last time i had left my fourby in the garage and keys on the kitchen table, they broke in went through the entire house, loaded up all the good stuff into the 4wd and just drive it out fully loaded!!!
Tip - dont leave car keys inside your house when out (or at least hide them somewhere).
Good luck, hope you get your car back, will keep an eye out for the kites on the 2nd hand market.

Car found in Windale . kites bar and lines and wettie gone .Bags left behind .These guys look like they were joy riders .Lots of rubber gone from the back tires ,dirt everywhere and they have smashed into something metallic that has pushed the bull bar back gone up over the bull bar and smashed into the windscreen halfway and smashed the front pillars .other than that car looks fine .car still goes and started no probs with ahalf a tank of petrol in it. I 'd say they plan to use the kites SO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR PROBABLE KOOKS IN A PARK AROUND WINDALE OR REDHEAD ON THE NEXT WINDY DAY .hopefully it'll be really blowin and they get a thorough workover .There was a 13.5 which should do the trick.
I re ckon we might catch up with these pricks .The driver is a smallish person judging by the seat and mirror adjustment they had made .

thanks Mitch .its pretty silly to steal a car too .I reckon we'll catch these ****ers (theives are pretty dumb .I already know the person is short who drove it .they will be flying them somewhere in the area soon .if they were serious crooks the car would be in bits and sld off by now .i don't reckon these kites are destined for ebay or cash convertors .if you see em don't approach them or say anything .Get a good description and follow them home .you can call me on 0413387991.or SNR Constable Pike at Charlestown police on 49429803

I and the cops caught thieves who got their relos to call for parts ts for motorised scootes and bikes that were pinched years ago (2 separate incidents same result ) and a ****head who stuck his arm through my shop window after smashing it and cut himself and gave enough for a dna match .

HELP GET THE WORD AND KITE DESCZRIPTION OUT THERE .ONE has a GRIFFIN (black canopy) the other has argo and is black canopy white LE and red TE .

Have a look at ur House insurance as well. U might be able to claim ur kites on your house insurance if your car insurance doesnt cover it. I know my policy covers me if they are stolen, even if they are in my car down the beach. Its worth a look anyway.

BTW the mighty Zuk came through a mighty smash by the look of it with no apparent damage to the occupants ie no evidenceof blood everywhere and the Zuk not looking too worse for wear . So much for a tonka toy eh Craig

They also took the carton of gudang garam indo smokes that were in my car .Also I just remembered that the last session that I had in my wettie I weed in it and then the wind dropped and I didn't get around to washing it so here is the description of one of them at least .

Small to medium person wearing a stinking ill fitting wetsuit, smoking stinking indo cigarettes while being dragged around and smashed by a 13.5 m delta kite on the next windy day.
