Car burglar at Brighton.

Just a quick note to let all the regulars at brighton (scarborough) know that even in this cold and wet weather that the low life that like to break into cars while guys are out kitesurfing are out in full force. I spotted a guy from the top car park today breaking into a fellow kitesurfers car at the bottom car park - managed to race down and scare him off before he took much more than the guys's key. Watch out for a dodgy guy and his girlfriend in a silver toyota corolla sedan REGO: 1BBY 357. Im sure there are others out there so watch out when you hide your keys and dont leave anything valuable in your car.

seriously, those scum have worked out your cunning hidey places, There is also no insurance cover if the crook has been left a key to let himself in.
Spend up big - about $80 - and get a 'Surf-lock' thingy locks up your key nice n safe.
you get to enjoy your session with nothing to worry about.

Will be packing the baseball bat for my next kitesurf, if the cops cant put in cameras or patrol close by coz they are to busy setting up speed cameras and booze buses. This has been happening every week for 25 years you would think surveilance cameras would cost less than cops having to follow this **** up 20 times a week.Theives are scumbags.Goodwill Will saved the day good onya champ. Maybe a community petetion is needed to make the beach carparks safer for parking.

yep its a bad spot. i had my car stolen with 2 kites and 2 boards and everything in it in summer. worst day of my life never parking in the corner of the crpark again.

keep an eye out and make sure you dont let anyone see where you put your keys
