Anyone know why this cam is down and has been for months?? Probably be getting close to a year soon.
Anyone here from the Mulla's Surf club care to comment on this, if they know anything?
Or is the maintenance and faults contracted out to Telstra or something?
same deal in Geraldton Flux , the cam is at the best location in town for windsurfing and kiteing and they have shut it down, I cant understand C/W logic , if you install a cam advertize it , I been here for years and I didnt know it was there.

They told me the surf clubs pulled the plug en masse. That was months ago. Could ask Scarbs SLSC if they know anything about that if we get a chance.
You used to be able to see Pinnas from it when it swung South and zoomed in.
Maybe Darren could arrange something on top of his vehicle whilst he was parked up but It would be hard to install anything permanent at Pinnaroo because it would get stolen or vandalised unfortunately.

Funny enough I had a meeting with council at Pinnas today and a camera was one of the things I brought up.
There has been a few cameras setup in Joondalup shire and they are "mobile" so can be moved to where ever they are needed. Problem is they place them in trouble spots where the most amount of crime is.
If we want cameras then we have to make official police reports for each and every criminal incident in order to get the numbers to get a camera installed. As it is, most people at Pinnas have been broken into over the last few years but few report it, hence no cameras for us .... yet!
