Contemplating road trip to Coffs. Wind forecast looks like few good days of NE ahead.
Can anyone please let me know best wind directions and locations for up there.
Cheers,
EB
If you a get a chance and it is blowing a NE go the the south beach at Valla.
It is a sweet spot and rarely many people there. You get quite a good break south of the rocks and can then scootle up the estuary on shallow flat water.
Toilets and showers there as well.
Where the river runs into the ocean at coffs is awsome in a NE. Perfect wind direction to use the waves as ramps. BIG AIR time!

I wasnt a kiter then, but I spent several weeks at the bonny hills caravan park just south of coffs. Awesome cheap council run park right on the water (gentle slope so can lie in tent and watch surf from any campsite). Always wanted to go back there with the kite as there were some spots there from memory that I reckon would be nice.
Also the walk up north brother mountain further south again from there was really nice
