So its been a few years thought I would check my lines, never done it as it's my first kite watched some youtube vid's not core specific but.

setup in my harness on full power on the trim strap sheeting in while leaning back to keep tension I am left with a bit of length on the power lines past the bar, the steering lines seem same length as the bar pulls in level.

here is a pic, this normal ? or do i need to tune it out.

Apply similar tension to the both pairs of lines and the bar should be around 50mm away from the chicken loop. if the distance is more lengthen the rears, other way shorten them.

Based on the picture it looks like you only have a few CM (5cm?) of over-sheeting which isn't that dramatic, but yes ideally they should be the same length. On this bar you can easily lengthen the back lines after removing the floater. Other option is to shorten the center lines which can be done by moving the larks head knot (just over the trim strap) to a shorter distance (create a new knot) or remove the line extension if necessary, depending on how much length of adjustment you need.

Thanks guys pulling in the bar about as much as my leaning seems the lines are much the same so no need for adjustment yet.
