"WAKSA president Steve Darke said there were often reports of kiters riding north of the groyne"

Good work Steve!

What about SUP south of the groyne? Ban that also as any given weekend it is a rock show.

From one of those articles, has anyone heard or know what these changes mentioned are that are going to affect you guys?

Quote:
She said moves to amend the Navigable Waters Regulations 1958 would hopefully ease the minds of residents and users of the foreshore, reserves and footpaths around Lucky Bay.

“The Transport Minister has approved preparation of draft amendments to the Navigable Waters Act 1958 to allow kite surfing activities in WA to be regulated like other water sport activities,” Dr Woollard said.

WAKSA committee is on to it & has been talking to correct people for a while -
I was on committee for a short time this year and committee discussed it as a top of list issue for 2012/2013 - but I had to leave committee last week as work & family time left no spare hours in day - If I remember correctly our ex- president Juddy is the man on the job.
