Just went out for a cheeky late afternoon session to end the year... SeaBreeze showing 16kn then 15 then 14... thought "Great, I'll take out the 14 while I'm waiting for yet another 
delaminated valve replacement to set on the 10".
Drive down... 18-22kn... hmm maybe? then thought better of it and drove home to get the 10 (Cant be ar$ed waiting to make sure the leading edge stays up)
Get home, get the 10, drive back down, get the kite, lines & pump out put my key on my harness and then promptly decide to leave said harness in the car while I rig up - close door and...... c0ck! 
Ask some woman to borrow her phone to call my wife who has to wake up our 'just gone to sleep' 4 week old son to bring me my spare set of keys... and a beer. 
So now - figuring the wind gods dont want me to kite today - to appease the gods I shall sacrifice my liver & kidneys at the alter of my bar and get totally rat ar$ed

No Efen way, just had the best session for this year down here, wasn't blowing crazy mad but was the best swell and wind direction I've had for ages , totally epic downwinder with some 3 meter faces, after a month of $hyte wind today's put my faith back in this little part of the world

Ps. The bloke that rang asking about the weather few days ago , my apologies but As said this place has fickle winds.

Yup gona kite all year round... ride my bike on flat ground near the river... just a little concerned about the 4000km drive (wife) and ride (me).
She doesn't know we're going so I can kite, I told her it's cos there's too many people in Sydney... and she thinks there's less Chinese in Perth.
stabber: Sorry kungpow I only speak Cantonese, and I'm not slamming them... the Mrs just feels there will be less Chinese in her circles...

ha bugger you all. I am going to finish this bloody mary step out the front of the camp and pump up my 9m. Only a couple of hours left and I will have to pump up my 7m. It does get hard when there is wind all day but the body can only kite so long.
