Hi all,
I thought I'd share this great video about my good friend Rob. Despite his considerable disability he can still rip around hard on his buggy (his personal speed record is 87 Km/h). Rob's the happiest kiter I've ever met, he's always smiling and you'll never hear him complain even if it takes him an hour to setup and another hour to pack down. His laugh is contagious and he will make you see life in a different way. Good on you Rob, keep kiting hard!
Note: be sure to turn on the captions on Youtube to get the subtitles
nice post cbulota. Rob was up our way this year and called in for a chat and plenty of laughing. He is very inspirational and made us appreciate life even after he left. I just wish we could of given him a chance to buggy some of the dunes up here. (Dragging his buggy over 100m up soft dunes on his own was a bit much)
Thanks for the post
Saw him ripping it up at Port Douglas last year. Really inspirational, he's living a fuller life than a lot of able bodied people do. Huge amount of respect.
Awesome :) inspiration for all people to stop complaining me too... and go fly a kite enjoy life it's short and precious :)
What a superstar! Would love to meet him! Keep on ripping buddy, there's nothing disabled about ol mate at all.
His accomplishments are amazing for any man to achieve.
Have known Rob since before it all came to pass and he is a absolute legend , what he achieves is incredible and words cant describe his great outlook on life and boy he is making the most of it :) .
Great Vid !
