Hey guys,
Just got a pair of 2012 Ronix ones, and keen to use them, though the board i am using for the moment has spacings about 2-3 mil longer than the 6 inch ronix spacing (see pic). So i was thinking about drilling out 1 mil each side of the boot on the baseplate, anyone else done this before and is there a better way?
Heres a pic, the spacings are probably 2-3 mil wider than the boots spacings.
Heres a pic of the baseplate, i want to drill a hole through the outer side of the white semi circular spacings.
On older boots I would say yes, but on these I think it would compromise the strength a bit. However I'm sure it would work if you did it right.
For 3mm I would file the washer of the mounting hardware. The boltswould sit slightly offset in the slot and would fit.
Be carefull cause I'm pretty sure one of your mates were telling me how gay boots are.....
Go to ya local Ronix guy and get a set of (2008)spacer rings and dril them.Did something slimer on a old LF Concept with 7.5 spred and work fine for the 2 months i ran it.
No good will come form ****ing with ya boots.Youll snap the baseplate then you ankle.
