Rick
I'm very interested, If I can work it around work and family.

Let me know the details.

What are you thinking drive or fly?

Both have advantages.

ie fly - quick, cheap and non fatiguing.

drive - equipment transport, adventure.

It would be a great trip.

Unless going for about a month I have ruled out driving
3 days solid each way to perth = 6 days of annual leave
Plus fuel plus 8k on car mileage
With other trips in the planning next year, it's not worth the time

Sure, agreed.

So what does that limit our gear to?

I'd like 2 kites, a surfboard and a twin tip.

Plus clothes and a toothbrush.

Can we fly from Williamtown, of do we have to go to Sydney?

It would be a great trip, I have never been there and would really like to go.

Señor ric!
I am considering the trek west for kitestock. I can get return flight for under $400. what accom. were u thinkin? What day would you fly out/back? I already have approval for a week off in feb. The Filthy filthy West calls!

I wonder if I can squeeze 2 x kites and 2 x surfboards in under 23 kgs. One rashie, thongs, sunscreen. I'll wear my harness on the plane if I have to

Edited to say: booked my flights, I'm comin!!

I found out today a training course I really want to attend is on the 11th Feb. Bad news for my kitestock attendance prospects.

However, on a happier note, I have approval for Isle of Man TT attendance in May.

Ah, can't win em all.

How's the nose Rick? Hope not too sore.

Heard you went back out after the hospital visit.

I kinda picked that.

Core mate.
