Yo! I would like to learn butter slides and want to know whats a sweet board to bust these on

I would imagine finless twintips would be easiest to do this with and have seen that the Cabrihna Custom can go finless quite well, but i would like to steer clear of such names as Cabrihna, Naish, and North as simply coz i would assume there is added $$$ just for the name sake, plus i know there are sick brands out there.

Also, I have a 2011 Nobile 50fifty, anyone ridden these finless yet? I would assume it would be ok as finless tt, but i wouldnt mind feeding my addiction and add another board to my quiver.

You can learn to do them with fins. Just a case of breaking out the fins and getting the board to slide.

Tona only started making the POP about 8 months ago and they recon they are not going to be changing it every year.

I guess essentially i would like to save $$ where possible, but on the other hand if what i am looking for is going to cost a little xtra then i will pay. Plus the Nobile was ex demo so got a good price for it.

Whats your take on it then? Do you prefer to stick to known brands or have you come across ripper boards which were from lesser known brands

I've only tried to butterknife with a (very) small board that I knocked up when making a 'normal' sized board.
It is only 900mm long and finless. Very 'loose' to ride but this makes it easier to swivel onto its end.
Not sure if this helps at all?
Good luck & have fun

Had many good boards, but generally found the bigger companies put in more R & D so you end up with a more refined product. I personally love the customs, just got a 2013 and farken love it.....
