Went for my first sesh on my new board and boots combo (2013 Cabrinha custom and Ronix franks) and I LOVE IT!!! 
I loved the locked in feeling and the ability to land a lot harder and a lot fast then ever before. I should have made the move years ago!

Sweet! I picked up a new 2013 Cabrinha Custom and some Ronix boots a couple weeks back too, haven't had a chance to take it out with the boots yet. I'm pretty excited! And more so after reading your post

yeah good on ya mate, it's good to see more and more crew changing to boots every summer and realize their benefits to certain styles.
finless is a personal choice, some love it some hate it. Personally I don't like it, especially in choppy conditions. you get a lot more load and bite out of your edge with a small fin on so unless i'm hitting obstacles i'll leave mine on. But try out both and see what you like.
Some wicked boards coming out now too, Cab is good as always, the tona's look sick, saw a board from naish the other day that didn't look half bad and ofcourse best's Profanity is wicked especially in the stronger stuff.
Been out for a grand total of maybe 5 sessions this summer so i guess it's about time i actively set aside more free time to go riding.
