This probably has been covered but I did a search and didn't come up with much.

I'm after some advice about fitting straps on an old surfboard. What is the best positioning of the straps... ie width of stance?, on the centre-line or off?, parallel or duck-stance?, how far back on the board? If its been covered does anyone have a link to the past post/s?

Thanks,

POP

i got a shaper to put mine in. if i did it again this time i would have them put in the duck stance pos. Also i found that my back foot strap wasn't towards the tail enough which made it harder for snaps. since taking the straps off it's been a lot easier to ride waves with and to switch feet when changing direction
