Wish I could surf like that without a kite. Throw a kite into the mix and he is my new hero.

2.30 wow. He gets a lot of power in the slash by taking his hands off the bar for a moment so he can lean out further, great technique. Liked the barrel also

All those guys out there riding unhooked can't depower at all to pull a cutback or stall for a section.
All those riding unstrapped have to hold back just to keep the board on their feet.
This dude is taking all that a kite and strapped board have to offer and using it to its best to ride waves in a truly unique style- Kitesurfing!
Why are we all trying to be surfers with a kite? The polies don't worry about 'unstrapped' and unhooked- they don't try and copy surfing- they go out and go wave-riding on a sailboard- cos thats what they're riding...
This vid is a glimpse of what kitesurfing should look like IMO, lets stop limiting ourselves with copying surfers.

I build great sand castles? not sure what you're on about.
Like you I appreciate all styles- but I humbly expreseed my opinion that this vid shows the best possibilities in kitesurfing. using kite, board and waves together. IMO this is where kitesurfing should be going- not trying to copy surfers.
I don't have any videos of myself for you to perv on. I make no claims to kiting greatness so don't have to justify my opinion by showing you footage of me riding.
Now leave me alone and go and attack some of the other posters who liked the video too and expressed their opinion over the great style and riding in this vid.

This guys has replicated his cutbacks which is 70% of the vid on surfing. He is a surfer.
You also mentioned strapless surfers hold back on turns, have you ever watched
Ryland or Ian Alldredge kite surf.
Strapped, Strapless, unhooked, hooked in, surfing, tricks etc its all good if it looks good.
We should build some sand castles together Jammin.
Face it strapless is like one man trying to get another man pregnant, pointless.
