I have just been on the Go Pro website watching some of the "videos" and they are amazing quality. Surely they are touched to make me want to buy one.....I am not saying that they are not great units just wanted to get real firsthand account on how good the video is compared to the website "produced" clips.
They take amazing quality pics and vid,no need for touching,i was going through pics and vid the other day trying to find images for some advertising with a professional photographer and he was blown away with the pics and footage,so much so that he bought a HD unit off me,they make anyone look like a pro.![]()
I would be interested to see a side by side comparison of video from the old and new cameras of the same scene / setup / lighting etc.
Having said that, what's not to love about better toys, assuming they actually deliver something useful as opposed to a version number (like iPhones, for example)
Have to agree, purchased a gopro 2 last weekend, simply stunning both video and "stills".. and their promo video would not be too far away from the truth. Also very easy to download on to the lap top..
On the topic of GoPro's, what's the best and/or easiest was to take photos whilst kitesurfing? Did you make an attachment yourself or buy a 3rd party version?
The Kitehero fin mount is pretty good and rugged.
Also like to try a wrist mount on one of the struts for "helicopter", view...
Both pretty affordable ways of mounting.
The HD 2 is even more amazing than the GoPro HD. Image clarity and colour is breathtaking on a HD TV.
I haven't tried the HD2 in Pic mode yet, just video. Sweet camera just got sweeter.
