The carparks are empty, the ocean is free of random crew swimming around and you're free to carve the waves like you're on holiday in a remote location.
WA Season is in full swing .. happy days.

30 to 35 knots in Gero late this arvo... Out on the 7 at horrocks, quite challenging for a relative newby I have to say. Managed to stay safe, and have a ball. Completely stuffed after an hour though. Exhilarating ! Looking good for the rest of the week too... And I am on holidays ..wooooo! Managed a gybe!
Happiness is...finally understanding why a small 6 meter kite is extreme fun in solid wind.
Had three sessions today. 7am, started on 9m kite at Happies...slightly overpowered.
10:30am downwinder on 7m kite, again overpowered. 3pm 2nd downwinder on 6m kite...freekin awesome.
The wind was crankin from 5am this morning and kept building all day long...same conditions forecast tomorrow...yahooo. I love happiness.
Happiness is heading up to Wedge for the day with a couple of mates, some SUPs and kites.
It's even better when you go in Juddy's car because as usual he has thought of everything (well almost everything 
) that might be required for such an adventure, beer, BBQ, sausages, etc......
What about that little thingy that goes between the gas bottle and BBQ, think its called adapter...Happiness is when you dont leave it at home.
Is knowing I will be taking my 6 for a test drive tomozza, the 8 was a bit hectic today!! Whoohoo

....feeling the land heat up all morning quickly, then the warm wind changes quickly to cold, you wait an hour and are itching.
You let it go, knowing that its not summer and it will sway back and forth...It's time. 45 mins in the water before it's time to quit. Its a long summer, and time to pick my daughter up from school.
Happiness is not being able to get out of bed cause my stomach muscles were smoked......
