that is insanity...... flying over the other kiters, i just can't get past the flying backwards thing and your whole life hanging on the chicken loop.
If he did an old school board off and dropped his board,
It would be a looong body drag back to it.
It's sort of cool that he can do it ... but, that's only because he is doing it on a wing not designed for soaring. He would have been safer and had more fun on a speed wing or a mini-paraglider.
BTW I understand that the guys who go kite soaring wear climbing harnesses and a carabiner, not just a chicken loop and a kite harness.
1. i reckon snowboarding down fresh pow would have been more fun.
2. my chicken loop snapped last session i was out. wonder what his safety leash would have done
