I was thinking booties, but still a bit tender as only happened Monday.

Doc said take stitches out NY day or day after.

Anyone know much of an issue it would be to either:
- take stitches out a few days early, and perhaps kite with tape on it and booties
OR
- just kite with stitches in it, after about a week (prob with booties and tape.

Are the stitches likely to tear through the soft wet skin or is infection the main issue??

Anyone with a medical background or experience of the injury would love to hear your thoughts

... I feel for ya mate

I mashed up the arch of my foot on a rock last year and could barely walk, when I finally could handle the pain of standing on it, I used booties which sucked arse but atleast I got on the water. I tell you I felt every chop, every lump and every bump,, man it hurt but the call of the wind was tooooo much for me to miss it.

Good luck dude!

cheers,

Robbie

I was rescued the other day after a long struggle in the water with getting my kite back in. And as a little parting gift just as I walked out of the water a crab pinced my foot. I lifted my foot up and there it was hanging of my foot haha. I had to grab it and pull it off which left it bleeding quite a bit actually haha.
