Im currently cleaning out the shed and flogging stuff on Ebay in order to get some money together to buy some new kites, trick is to sell it all for cash only so that the missus doesnt find out.
Do you think she will notice 2 new kites in my man cave?
What lengths have you gone to, to get a hold of new gear.

Anyone interested in a lawn mower? Fish tank filtration unit? Water Pump?
Snow board roof racks? Pair of Alpine Star Tech 8's motocross boots size 11?
Cash only
Pick up from Nunawading Vic

It is almost time to start boosting every day again.
Remember to start fasting, every 10kg lighter makes you go upto 5metres higher given the same windspeed. It's science.

I'm scabbing a dumped fridge from a mates car-park and selling it on Gumtree.

And I've signed up for market research for some hopefully easy cash.

Always keep your old kiteboard bag, She'll never think "I'll just check what board he's got in here". Could be a newie or an old faithfull!! She wont know!!

Get rid of the missus then you can get whatever you like, that's if there is anything left of you.

Just joking of course, I think?

The old board bag is a great idea if only the zips would last[}:)]

Hmmmm. As a new kitesurfer at 52 after 30 years of pole dancing, summer is looking good. I'm thinking sell all the assets and stop work and be a beach bum again. Not sure gorgeous wife is on the same track!

I bought my first kite from Seabreeze buy and sell in 2006. It was a Cabrinha Nitro CO2. It was $200 which I had to borrow from a mate as I wasn't working. The problem is that a mate had taught me to kite on his gear and I got hooked so I had to buy something. The $200 kite was so shot that it only lasted about 10 sessions.

Have had 8 more kites and 5 boards since then and had to come up with many ways to make stuff disappear. Luckily have not had to sell other toys to fund kites.

I'm not sick - really - I just need more kitesurfing gear - just because I do - and I just cant realise why my other half cant understand why that is so???

So my latest has been to pick a really expensive 'must have - we cant do with out' in the house and then throw up the - or I 'could simply buy this cheap kiteboard and I will stay out of the funny farm' response.

I guess I'm still out of the funny farm.. (what a win!!) - unless the wind doesnt kick in soon !! ha ha
