Im new to the sport and im 16 years old.
Just wondering how many young people around my age (under 18 or so) kite? I havent come across to many so far.
Dunno - but there's heaps of old ones..I've pm'd you pointing you in the right direction 
im 14 and started 2-3 years ago, there is 5 young guys at our spot and tonnes in melbourne but im not sure about everywhere else,
im 14 started when i was 11/12
Not many kiters around my age in perth metro but plenty of 17+
What part of australia are u in cause ur profile only says Aus
We have young Zac at our beach (13 YO)
He's progressed really quickly and is starting to even show some style 
much to his Stepdad's dismay

What do you think is a good age to start ?
Does it depend on the individual or do you guys think a certain age is about right ?
Was down at Parkdale the other day, and there was a 10y.o out on a 7m Convert - and it was blowing 28 knots!
He's only been learning for six weeks, and he was started do pop little ollie's off waves as well!
Hi guys - we gave a kite as a prize at Kitestock to the most promising junior. It was Bill Hampton from Margaret River who started late Nov last year and is already landing unhooked double back rolls.... BTW; he's 10!!!

..you kiddies look so cool on them kites !!...just look after your shoulders and knees, and you have an unlimited source of fun for the rest of the century...
