... typical hey, if it doesn't rain, it pours (excuse the pun). Spend all year waiting for epic conditions, forcast says its coming and guess what,,,,, its happening, we have wind,, yay! Local news paper apparently came down to take some action shots but I don't think they'll use any, I reckon seeing a speck in the sky against grey storm clouds doesn't translate to good looking photos for front page news!!
I did take a go pro earlier so hopefully I got something out of it, lots of rain and lowish light so I don't know how it'll go, haven't checked yet, could have fogged up for all I know!
Oh, and the local groms (son Karl and and his friend Leroy) absolutely hit'n big air, giving the old man a run for his money, the (not so) little sh!ts absolutely smashing it . Big air was the one thing I had on them and now they took that away from me too!!! They flicky flicky, spiny spiny, jump big and even did an hour strappless surfboards, bloody hell, I think I've been usurped!!!!
Lucky me, I'm on a 13 day streak, here's hoping for day 14!!
