Saw this and thought it was pretty cool technology available for iPhone users. You can use it to take a photo of a mole and the software will analyse whether you need to get it investigated further by a skin specialist. Obviously not a replacement for a doctor but may be good technology to use once in a while to see whether its worth chatting to a doctor because its difficult justifying doing random checkups with the doctor every 3 months.
The app was created by CEO Victor Anastasiu and his team of 12 which includes two dermatologists and two mathematicians.
