The sealer for me was the l o n g protracted phoenix rising from the ashes lift off at the end (it is a 3rd of the whole vid).
If that was vid being posted here wasn't intended to make you think "Crikey those BWS kites are strong aren't they?" then I have a monkey for an uncle. That's entirely debatable of course.
Sure it's mildly interesting but max logo time and an impression of a tuff product are it's aims.
Pimping is pimping - whether you like BWS or not.
I wish BWS all the best BTW and it's good to see a new option out there with his experience behind it. But play by the forum rules - just like all other sponsors/non-sponsors have to. Declare your interest in future posts (espesh with long slo-mo logo shots) and then there is nothing dodgy goin on.
Maybe Ben's mum could start spamming the razamataz sites?

I am half owner of the It's Extreme retail shops in Cairns and am part of the Benwilsonsurf team.
I don't think anyone can really argue that there is a financial interest from Bruce in the product featured in that vid.
If you want some balance post an equally gnarly stack where the product cops a flogging. I'm sure there is plenty of that footage in your vault Buruce (speshly when you consider how hard Ben charges and the extreme punishment he dishes out).
i can understand why anyone wants to jump up n down about it being a promo type of advertisement .. because its a pretty lame video so some question why its posted, motives n all that if your into this type of forum duscussion... I'm not.. just a little tipsy to give enough shyte to type an opinion...
but!
even if its some kind of hidden agenda promo crapola that is the usual form of the kiteboarding industry least it is the first promo vid of a kite actually being water relaunched in an impact zone and for that I'm impressed. how many promo vids show the rider landing on the beach walking back and relaunching ...... kudos for the attempt...
ps. did anyone else see a pair of tits in the clip... is that subliminal or am i more pissed than i thought ..
