more to the point .......who in their right mind spends $299 on an electric pump ? , what have things come to that we even have a place in the market for these.
If you dont have the energy to pump up your kite you should not be kiting.
If your back hurts from pumping up ....you should not b kiting ( see a chiro ).
Im off to buy a motorised surfboard because I cant be bothered paddling
i've been pumping my kite for 2 minutes the other day, only to realise I've left the outlet valve open... i wish i had the electric pump at that moment...
also i reckon when you get old, and just do kite cruising, it would be handy to have a pumping aid... but until that time, manual pumping i reckon is still much quicker... unless the "check out the tits..." ad is fully legit... in which case it would take approx 2 seconds to pump the whole kite, as it takes approx 2 seconds to say that sentence... which is pretty impressive...
agreed with harry, if you dont have the physical capacity to pump a kite then GEEEEET OUT.
pretty sure if it took the time to say "check out the tits on that chick" you'd over inflate it and it would pop :P have to be a pretty quick pump considering most electric pumps ive seen in the past for inflatable mattresses and stuff take like 10 mins lol

I was at narrowneck the other day and right on cue a bunch load of Japanese tourists descended on the beach which is a regular occurrence.
With their inquisitive smiley nature I convinced 3 single attractive ladies to pump my kite up while I laid out my lines.
Gotta love the international kite language.
Somewhere in Japan they have the photos to prove it
