how can the martian sky be red if there's no atmosphere, and isn't the latest from 'never a straight answer' (nasa) an anouncement of water and ice found on the mars..?

Wouldn't the dust in the air create a sanding effect on the kite?

Hey it's that little italian guy, haha nice one brother! my guess is Collins Avenue or thereabouts in Rose bay, nicely onshore in a southwester....lots of obstacles! but launching area would be pretty ok at low tide?

A. Yes stupid
B. Not stupid
C. Smoking all them bongs & drinking over-moederately combined with city exhaust fumes and toxic food additives will always do more damage than a 1 off

D. Nice pics to send to NASA - to hang next to the Appollo Moonwalks

Very cool pictures. If we had not all seen that last week I am sure a lot of us would have been saying the pictures were photoshopped...

Looks like it could definitely be Rose Bay.

So if that is the case:

a) no you were not stupid for kiting in the dustiness

b) yes you were as kiting in Rose Bay is as bad an idea as kiting Bondi Beach

So who's going to tell the Italian that kiting is banned in Sydney Harbour?
Any NSWKBA reps?

Thanks I already know... is not only me down there, we don't need bad publicity and... I believe if you would live down there you would be the first guy in the water.
I do take my full responsibility for my own actions.

And yet you kited at a location that has a very high probability of getting us in to strife over what is really a rubbish kiting spot anyway.

Your actions may get us all banned from who knows where.

How is that responsible?

So you were kiting in Sydney harbour, in poor visibility with head phones on.
Personally I do think you are an idiot.
Being and addict is no excuse for stupidity.

Your actions could cause a lot of trouble for other kitesurfers in Sydney.
Hopefully you get caught soon and your gear gets taken away... problem solved.
