Hi all,

I've been helping my fiancee along getting into the sport. After a number of times on my old trainer, she had 3 lessons at the end of last season which she really liked. After that I bought her a nice little 8 meter (cross high wind machine for me :-))))Now the season has started again, I have taken her out just to fly it on the beach a couple of times and she is really starting to get the hang of handling the kite.

But what I really think she needs is a day with some girls who are in a similar situation. She's only ever gone out with me and my mates, and I think it's a bit intimidating hanging around a bunch of gung ho blokes! She is more the take it slow and carefull type.

The last thing I want is for her to scare herself out of the sport which happened with paragliding unfortunately.

I saw KB4Girls has a thing on in WA, Vic and QLD. What about Sydney?? I know they used to have a thing on at Longy some nights. Still??

Cheers,
Tom

There is also "girls riding group" run by Anne. Pretty much last sat of every month, girls get together to windsurf/kite/paddle board whichever the weather dictates.
