Morning all,
This is my first post.
I have just realized I have a week and a half off between jobs.
I would like to go somewhere either within Australia or close by like maybe Fiji for a kite boarding trip. I have been to most Victorian spots so would like somewhere a little more exotic.
Can anyone recommend a destination. Keep in mind that there bust be good consistent wind and I don't want to fly somewhere that costs $2000+.
Want to book asap.
thanks

Theres a big easter event in Robe sponsored by onboard, coopers and redbull.
Wind is a bit hit or miss but there will be a big party and lots of social stuff.
If the wind does kick in, its a stellar spot for waves and flat water blasting on lake george!
Check out the SAKSA website for details or in the SA Kitesurfing forum.
From my knowledge irukandji are both rare and difficult to predict their location, but the general view with most varieties of stingers is that strong, consistent nth winds will bring them down. I e lived around the whitsundays and never touched a stinger suit but the further north the more exposure. Local advice is best though as often there can be localized areas of high/low risk. Some dope flat water up that way. Do it.
We (Seabreeze) and Zepher Kite Tours will be giving away trip to Cocos Islands - competition soon to launch, and entry is free!
Book your holiday, and enter & have the winter of your life - coming back tanned, fit & a better kiter. ![]()
