Crew coming to Kitestock should be aware that FESA &/or other gov't agencies may close the Brand H'way &/or Indian Ocean Drive this morning due to smoke from a nearby bushfire.
Check www.emergency.wa.gov.au for more updates.
Some crew have reported having to be detoured via Three Springs on the way here - plan for that possibility.

Coast rd and Brand Hwy closed South of Dongara due to fire.
I did have 80k's to go now I have a couple of hundred via Three Spings, Minengew.
Nothing like seeing a bit of the Aussie outback on Australia day in 40+ degrees.
Might as well have a beer at least they are cold.
Had a look on the site but it doesnt say anything about closing the coast road . can any body help were allready late
