Can anybody advise if the Newcastle area is suitable for kitesurfing? Looking for flat water mostly. Am moving over there later this year and want to know if its worth taking my gear? Thanks

August will be the peak for flat water and good westerlies.
A couple of months either side will see you get some good session in

Westerly and Sw will be your best wind directions
