Depends if you ride strapped or strapless or if you do or do not wear boardies over your wettie...

You can ride a kite on a wave? thought it would would have too much drag and just loose its shape.... this could be what we have all been waiting for...

But Marcello, to save you having to read that whole thread... the answer is any kite with the word "North" on it!

So the answer is to spend $1.99 on a felt tip pen/texta and write "North" on your current kite.

Improves the kite in the waves by a guaranteed 22% or my name isn't Nathan Arizona!

Every answer should be"north".... well it would certainly prevent any future arguments on seabreeze

To be fair you didn't say what you wanted to do in the waves!

light wind booostathons gliding over thundering white wash then smacking straight into the next pitching wave... awesome fun on the speed.

Stick with the park, they go well in waves doing wave riding, try it on 20 m lines for best results.

Actually I want less power.. I want to se the lines loosening while I'm on the wave

I have the North Neo which i like thus far (a few solid sessions in shoulder high surf). I had the bar already so went for wave specific kite in the North line up (Neo). My only concern is i feel it under performs upwind. I wonder if this is true for the Ozone Reo and all wave kites?

It WILL NOT fall out of sky even when i handle it rather badly or rush at it cos i'm flying down the face of the wave. I was actually amazed at first , i have been using c-kites which comparatively suck in the waves.

Ozone reo and Slingshot rally were next on my list.

I'd only buy brands that would re-sell also, that being said there is a big market for North, slingshot and Ozone (only reo) on Seabreeze. Waiman and RRD are too Niche for me.

How is the upwind performance truthfully....

probably can't ask any kiter that is sponsored to keep it real.

If you ride a mutant don't bother replying. This guy wants to go strapless and ride the wave, not strapped fully powered upwind riding on a wave you can use any kite for that.

Yes I am here..today was honking again..come here come on hurry up :)
Yesterday massive swell and wind, I was on Keira's 5,5m Drifter and had an awesome kite...today a bit lighter but still 25knots...
/ I wanted to say Ozone REO not REV... / But I would only go for RRD or Cabrinha because of their great comfy bars with 4 lines..don't like de-power ropes rubbing my fingers and 5 lines if you can have the same with 4 only....
