Hey guys,

Was thinking of heading up to Broadbeach around New Years. Just had a few quick questions:

- What are the winds generally like during this time?
- Is there much surf or is it mainly flat water?
- Can you kite right on Broadbeach?
- Anybody know anything about the Peppers Hotel in Broadbeach? What's the location like? Is there much for the wife to do while I'm out kiting?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Jeremy

Awesome spot. Take you surfboard and you 11 metre. Should be fun.

Hey Mate,

Peppers Broadbeach is a awesome spot to be staying - Concierge can check you in before you even get out of the car - and the wife will be well looked after by the pool cleaner......I mean the day spa and shopping.....but hide your credit card (unless she is shopping for kite gear)

oh and only 5mins walk to beach. Pack your larger kites for sure!!!!

Great feedback guys... We're married now, so I technically don't own any credit cards. What's mine is hers, and what's hers is hers. At least that's what she tells me ;)

When you say "big kite", I'll probably just bring the 13 meter.

Are you able to kite right on the beach there, or are there designated kiting zones?

J
