I have a Vietnam trip coming up in December, and was wondering if any people, having experienced it, would recommend taking some kite gear over....

also is there anything must-do over there as far as holidays are concerned ?

Ive just spent 3 weeks there for the south west monsoon which was fantastic and kited my behind off on a 11m

But in December the north east monsoon will have started and the wind is stronger so a smaller kite is desirable

"The beach" to goto is Mui Ne where 99% of the kiters goto
However if you wish to aviod the crowds/water traffic head up to Nha Trang or south to Vung Tau where the beaches are wider and less hectic... only downside are the Viets on holiday for the weekend but your have monday to friday mostly to yourself

Do a search for more info

Mate, I'm interested to head to Vietnam in December too. I am 90kgs and ride twin tip. Would a 12m Switchblade be too large for me that time of the year? Anywhere you recommend to stay thats kiter friendly! Cheers!
