Hi all
I'm heading to the sunny coast late august. What are the conditions like at that time of the year? Is it worth taking my gear?
Cheers

Late August can be hit and miss. We'll either get ordinary SE's or decent N's. Coming from WA you will likely be disappointed but It's still worth bringing your gear if you can fit it in.

Late August is usually the depressing time at the end of a long boring winter and waiting fir the October seabreezes.

Bring your gear but plan other activities.
