I agree with you Beersy. I'd rather have a government that gives us heaps of stuff for nothing than have a big lame G A Y churchy loser as a PM. It might mean we need to pay more tax and puts the country into more debt, but if the farmers in the middle of nowhere get super fast optic fibre internet imagine how quick their response times will be on Seabreeze!! Well worth the expense in my opinion.
Labor is only in because of an agreement with the greens and the regional independents . the good news is that regional kiting is about to explode .there will be many more wind farms in regional areas as part of the greenhouse gas reduction (carbon tax ets whatever you want to call it )thing . Not everyone is self employed and some of us would rather not bend over and think of England whilst big business plumbs our vegemite canals. 
Some of us also realise that to enjoy things like watersports (and even spearfishing ) we need to look after our environment both on land and sea. It's not always about consuming all that is out there before some other self employed chap beats ya to it.
