Light wind kiting is for girls....you should just drive down south...here's a pic from Saturday. Don't have any photos from kiting because we were all too busy figuring out how to land jumps from 15m high without killing ourselves

Oh 15 mtr jumps that must be scary. Not many guys have the guts to jump like that.

They're boasting metres, not metric metres by the way.

Hey Hosh,

A few goodies in there mate. Can't believe John rides the Sector Toeside at times

Today was my first kite in about 6 weeks I think. I hit the water at 1pm with the Sector 60 and the Core XR LW 17m and decided to go out to Little island , then thought I should go up to Hillarys, then Sorrento, then Trigg ...... Well the kilometers whizzed by and in just under an hour I was at Brighton Beach, Scarborough. Still discontent with my journey, I continued South into the 10knot S'wester and kited to the Northern end of the Firing range at Swanbourne. Only saw two kites up on the way upwind, both gave up after realising the wind was too light for normal gear.

I turned around at the range at 2:45 and rode back downwind to Pinnaroo and passed three kiters out at Scabs, all on big kites and skim boards or race boards. I kept going and made it back to Pinnaroo by 3:45. Again only two kites up, both Zephyrs.

I had such a good session. On my own, cruising the coast at speed, fully powered and had a quality 3 hours on the water. Tired, sunburned and sore as ....

What an epic session!

Couldn't agree more, I was on one of the Zephrys at Pinarro this afternoon and was having a light wind ball. Flat water, no congestion, awesome visibility and fully powered at 10 knots on a twin twip.

Nice photo's Hosh, keep clear of those fins on the Sector 60 though

At least when you jump that high you have time to 'figure it out' . You could have updated the google earth images.
