Wouldn't be cool to have some sand dune inside the botany bay where we kitesurfer can chill out on, kite surf in super flat water ect.
something like dubai.
I know it is just a dream but the idea, maybe stupid, i think is really cool.
plus kitesurfing in any wind condition and a lot of space for launching and landing

I assumed you were referring to all the families smoking thier hubbly bubbly shisha pipes at the beach!
It already feels like "little Dubai" when you are trying to get a car park there!
If you have seen the local councils ideas, you are probably about right. The want to build a crystal palace marina and other stuff.
It looks like it is more useful to block the wind and let rich people tie their boats up and go shopping for the afternoon, than leave the place natural and good for normal people to enjoy.
