What place in Australia has the longest season for flat water/freestyle?
I'm now in Geraldton but the wind is just too strong
I long for 20 knots ;) I've only been kiting around WA so far. Is QLD around Cairns/Townsville best? Kiters I meet here from QLD claim to have a year round season.
look at the buy and sell its a pretty good guide to aussie winds, exmouth has its moments but id say its a bit more mellow most of the season, not blowvember though, its been pretty good this season regards quantity of days but the winds have been all or nothing, ive not had a 20knt session on my 11 for weeks, 7 heaven, or nine mighty fine winds
Your kidding right? Haa Ha ha ha no That was a good one mate!
You almost had me, too much wind ha Ha ha
You should change your name to pigfunny ha ha Haa or funnypig ha ha haa![]()
Wouldn't you have to go where the pig farms are?
or are there pig farms in all locations around the world?
ps the answer is not australia at all!!. !!
NZ has a year round season.
Glad to entertain Hamburglar! I'm just in the position to choose where I live so I'd like to be somewhere better suited for freestyle. With 30 knots comes the chop and small kites. If given the option id rather have more of less (strong winds) ;)
Plummet, thanks, nah I'm not actually a pig farmer luckily. Id like to stay in OZ for a while though.
I wouldn't want to let all the good nz locations out of the bag now would I?
there would be a stampeed

jan, feb, march seabreases mild swell. 15,13,10 most common
april, funky unpredictable wind but still kiteable. any size
may, june, jul, aug sep. winter storms. stupid wind and swell. 8,6,10common
oct, nov, dec cranken spring westerlies awesome swell. 13,10,8 common
