Hey Jouke,

Have you thought about Mauritius? I know it's not in the Pacific but it may be an option for you, especially since you could fly onwards to Europe afterwards if you were intending on heading home. It's a great combination of flatwater and waves.

Failing that, get a flight over to Western Australia - the season cranks up pretty well from November onwards...

Hi Jouke

Try kitesurfari.com.au as may have spare spot on last trip to Cape Flattery--an awesome spot to kite. Otherwise go to Cook Islands and get internal flight to Aitutaki as one of the best and biggest lagoons in the world with crystal clear water. Google kiteboarding Cooks and you should get link the Kiwi's who run tours over there and will give you advice.

why travel all that way for flat water ? there are plenty of cable parks around for that sort of thing and you don't have to rely on wind

cook islands way too risky that time of year. New Cal should just be kicking in tradewind style. Tahiti - same. New Cal (not too bad) and Tahiti are very expensive, many items are shipped all the way from france to the pacific. Yep if u like flat water go to WA. By the way New Zealand rocks.
