na alex sanz definetly for THE FUTURE section and rowdy doesnt get a spot. if anything maybe just have him in the background pumping up alexs foil kites. that way alex has more time and can get out and teach THE FUTURE...

i was sort of half being serious... without anyone like alex and people who are willing to teach people with out charging like $3/minute i would really not like to see where kiteboarding in general would be today. imagine if kiting was only even an option for the minority of people who earn big money..... imagine if EVERYONE was doing board off-triple 1080s. im not saying that there is anything wrong with any of this stuff but where would kiting be without people like dre, stone, wilson and the rest? i think the only way that kiteboarding will keep moving forward is if its open to the kids and people who just want to go out, have fun and try new stuff without having to spend thousands of dollars just to learn

KAOS. is the man, there should be a mag just about him if you,ve only seen him ride in comps then you havent seen him ride. In 2006 he did the biggest kiteloop known to man broke the kite on the way down and then broke his back on the landing, and there is still a deep hole at gnotuck where he struck the bottom. 6 months later back out on the water going even bigger! and still goes bigger then anyone.

Back on topic...

Harry Hayes for junior ripper.
I'll happily go on record saying that watching him smack down whilst learning to kite loop was a testament to how hardcore this junior can be.

KAOS for senior ripper.

There was a guy called Rob who went to the Cocos last year (and this year too I hear) who was in his early 60's? and he fully ripped. First out, last in and was the backroll boosting king. Plus he had a six-pack worthy of a 20-something
