If your talking about a kite session, scarborough (Queens beach) in about 40 mins. Not sure of the state of the water and beach there but going for a look anyway.
checked out sandgate this arvo but no wind... just kited Brighton so far in Brissy plus a spot at da Goldie.... hoping to hit Sunshine coast this weekend as wind looks good
