Parks Victoria has set up new Kiteboarding Zones.
Here is the link to the webpage where you can open up different PDF files for several areas.
Just check on the left and find your local spot!

I think this was set up in November and will be implemented thru mid 2012.

I hope that link works!

These aren't new. They have been in place for a couple of seasons now. If only we could get the jetski jerks to pay attention (and the showboat kiters who ride out the front of the St Kilda Sea Baths)

As Lost said, these are not new, the maps are dated January 2009. Have a look in the Vic section for info on this topic.

just as aside, who the hell chose the colors? The kiting zone color is almost the same color as the no boating color....

I know! The stage 3 is now in place and this covers I think Seaford to Rye.

"Parks Victoria will implement the new zones progressively across all of Port Phillip and Western Port over the next few years. Implementation of stage 3 will commence in the second half of 2012."

I just added all the PDF's as a summary for future reference.

Stage 3 is effecting me, but in a positiv way as I just walk 3 minutes across Armstrong rd. and dip in
