Naish Boxer with Cabrinha IDS Bar

Has anybody done this or know if it can be done? 2006 model year AFAIK

Hey Slicerdidicer

You can fly the Naish boxer 2006 with an IDS bar, but the IDS safety system will not work on the boxer, or may only partially work at best.
The Naish boxer is suited to a bar that flags to a single front line (like SS, Ozone), the IDS kites flag to both front lines.
Check the condition of the pulleys and the lines that run through them, these were known to wear and break on this kite, and really needed to be checked at least once per season and replaced if showing any signs of wear.
An experienced repairer should be able to replace the thin stock bridle/pulley line with thicker 3-4mm amsteel or dyneema lines.

2006 boxer was a C kite (no bridles/pulleys on the kite). You might have a bit of trouble using that bar/line setup. You can try it and see what happens, the flagging system might be fair out of whack though
