I just spent half an hour googling without a result. Does anyone know where I can buy these Naish footstraps in Oz, preferably around Sydney?
I've just managed to wreck my 2008 ones. ![]()
Apologies if I've missed an obvious shop, I'm knackered.
Maybe call windgenuity directly and see if they have any then just call your local naish shop and get them to order them...
Windsurf n'Snow have them in the shop
17-19 Anzac Ave Collaroy. I think off the top of my head its 149 ish a set
Are these straps OK? I stuck my foot in them at the beach the other day and they seemed very wide. I do have skinny girly feet though.
Just interested...
Ergh, get anything but these abominations. I demoed some Naish boards a few weeks ago and these were absolutely the worst straps I have ever used. I have pretty average sized and shaped feet so they should be able to work for me but they didn't at all. The edge closest to my ankle gouged into the top of my foot whilst the rest of the strap was sloppy. I tried to adjust them but they are minimally adjustable and as soon as they approached a firm fit they were so uncomfortable, and still without any sense of security to inspire jumping, that I took the board back and rode a North board again (the other brand on offer at RPS demo). Overall I was aghast at the Naish components.
There are many brands of pad/strap sets more adjustable and comfortable than the current Naish stuff. Shop around.
The new Grav D straps are something that takes 1/2 hour of riding to come to terms with. First thoughts are that they are too wide to get any grip but you will find they dont need to be as snug as other straps.
When fitting them add some more duck from where the bolts are placed in the factory and they are fine.
The straps are surprisingly good once you get over that feeling they are too loose.
Strange straps indeed , had the new board out yesterday and everytime I tried something my feet would come out of the straps, played around with the straps and towards the end of the session my feet started to stick. Most comfy pads I have ever tried.![]()
