I've noticed a few posts re: defective gear (and some people hijacking other threads with reports of defects /failures / breakages / etc ).
Maybe a dedicated SAFETY thread for issues people have found and maufacturers product recalls / replacement policies / etc would be a convenient way for people to find out if there are any things to look out for with their gear ?
Now that you come to mention it, I bought this 8 year old cab switchie and the pulley broke on me! Anyone else found this problem with this brand.
Tell me about it I just got a Naish AR3 and cant workout which is the front and which is back lines
My 10 year old double pluggers blew out on me yesterday. What do you expect for $6 from kmart!

Regards the new forum .. my personal vote is that the product recall/replacement thing is generally rare, and faulty product stuff surges now and again so doesn't necessarily warrant a new forum .. but ... open to what others have to say ...
I think we should have a new forum that is only open for 24 hrs on the eve of 1st April!
