Hey anyone know anything about the new go pro being released. a mate sent me a photo of a black one that does 60fps @ 1080 full hd and shoots 15mp stills he reckons. anyone else know anything or got info/ release time?

Haven't heard anything about the black one. @ Galah, Yes there is a battery backpac available. The LCD Backpacs left the USA for worldwide distribution on the 28th of Feb. They should land in Oz in the next few days at the distributors, then on the trucks to the retailers.
I hear there is a 3D HD GoPro coming.

Don't get me started about the crud that is marketed to us as "3d tv". 
When I can move hy head from side to side and see the picture change (think of looking around a tree) then it's 3d, until then 2d+ at best!
GUYS. Come on. It was obvious (to me) that was a bad PhotoShop. The lenses should at least be placed furthest apart!
